FontStruct lets you quickly and easily create fonts constructed out of geometrical shapes, which are arranged in a grid pattern, like tiles or bricks.

Windows 7 Search Options

If you're a Windows 7 user, then you've probably noticed how awesome the Search Box is. You can find just about anything by typing a name into the box; be it files, programs, commands, etc, but did you know there are ways to customize your search?

Click Start, then in the Search Box type Folder Options.

Now click on the Search Tab.

From here, you can set options on what to search for, how to search and what to include during your search. Fidget around in here until your satisfied, but remember that you can always restore the default search settings by clciking the Restore Defaults button at the bottom of the window.

Are you familiar with the Programs and Features window in Windows Vista and 7?

It's the place where you can uninstall programs and get information on stuff like the publisher, when the program was installed, its size and more. much more, if you use this tip.

... So click Start and in the Search Box type "Programs and Features". Now either click on the icon the appears in your list or just hit Enter. The Programs and Features window will open up.

From here, look along the top of the list where Name, Publisher, Installed on, etc are.
Look at all those options! Just put a check next to anything you'd like to know about your installed programs like source, location, registered owner and more! Select what you want and hit OK. Get all the details!

Take a second to look through the list of your favorites

that you have saved on your computer. How many do you have? Too many? Think you should maybe get rid of some of those? Yes, no, maybe so? Well, if you decide you should, here's how you can clean up your space.

To delete any of the favorites you have saved in your list, simply highlight the one you'd like to discard, right click and select Delete. A box will come up asking if you're sure you want to send it to the Recycle Bin and if you're sure, click Yes.

That will take the unwanted file to the Recycle Bin. To complete the deletion, you can just go to your desktop, find the Recycle Bin icon, right click and select Empty Recycle Bin. That will remove it from your computer forever.

Proceed the same way until you have all of your favorites cleaned up to your liking!

Expanding Explorer Menus

Newer versions of Internet Explorer use a Favorites menu that "remembers" the sites you visit the most. So, when you click your Favorites menu, you may only see 5 or 6 of your favorite sites and need to click the little double-V looking thing (see picture below) at the bottom of the menu in order to see the rest.

Personally, I kind of like the feature, but I know that some people don't. So, if you want to make your favorites menu show you all your favorites all the time, do the following:

1. Open Internet Explorer and hit the Tools menu, Internet Options .

2. Click the Advanced tab and look for an entry called " Enable Personalized Favorites Menu ." Just uncheck it and your Favorites menu should go back to showing you everything.
