Manage Gnail Accounts

http://www.amadeus.net/home/new/subwaymaps/en/index.htm

Word has an annoying little habit of capitalizing the first letter in each line so that I have to go back each time to alter it to lower case. I am sure that there must be a setting somewhere to eliminate this nuisance but I can't find it. Can you please help with this one?"
You can turn this "feature" off easily. The first letter of a sentence capitalization feature is part of MS Word's Auto Formatting "feature".
Here's how to access the configuration options and settings in Word:
1. Click Tools
2. Click "AutoCorrect Options"
In the first window you will see option to “Capitalize the first letter of sentences”. Uncheck the box next to this entry.
Hint! There are many other auto-formatting options here that you can personalize

Manage Multiple Gmail Accounts
Windows 98/NT/ME/NT2000/Windows XP/Windows Vista - Requires Firefox

For those of you with multiple Gmail accounts this is a very good tip. Rather than logging into and out of your various Gmail accounts, you can access them all at the same time without logging in several times to several different accounts. And, without downloading them with Outlook Express, Windows Mail etc.

It's called Gmail Manager which is an extension for the Firefox browser. Even if Firefox is not your main browser (it's TC's main browser, EB still stumbles around with Internet Explorer) you should have it installed on your computer -and use it from time to time - just because! You can get it from here. Anyway, Gmail Manager is Firefox extension that allows you to manage multiple Gmail accounts and receive new mail notifications. It displays account details including unread messages, saved drafts, spam messages, labels with new mail, space used, and new mail snippets.

Gmail Manager Features:

* Manage multiple Gmail accounts
* Receive new mail notifications
* Support for Gmail hosted accounts
* Ability to import/export account preferences
* Tooltip with account details and new mail snippets
* One-click access for loading your Gmail account
* Mailto: links detection
* Quick mail compose for Gmail accounts
* Customizable icon placement in the toolbar/statusbar

If you've got Firefox and several Gmail accounts and you're looking for a fast way to check all of your Gmail accounts at once, Gmail Manager is for you. Go read more about Gmail Manager and download it here. It's a small, fast download and install even on the slowest of connections.

You still don't have a Gmail account? Go get one, it's free

Open Up!
Windows XP and Windows Vista

Open Files Using "Open With" - This tip allows you to use the "open with" command to open a file from Explorer or the desktop. In Explorer or on the Desktop (wherever the file is) hold down shift and right click the file. You now have an "open with" option. Click on "open with" and you can open the file with any program on your computer. The original association remains unless you click "always open with this program". So if you don't want to change the file association, make sure "always open with this program" is not checked.

This is a CAPTCHA image:

So what does CAPTCHA mean? A CAPTCHA is a program that protects websites against bots by generating and grading tests that humans can pass but current computer programs cannot. For example, humans can read distorted text as the one shown above, but current computer programs can't.

what does the USB Disk Ejector do? Well, it basically allows you to quickly remove any USB device from your Windows computer. Originally, it only worked with pen drives, but it is now designed to work with any USB compatible device. Once you have the program installed on your computer, you can remove all of your devices with just a quick double mouse click or a touch of the Enter key on your keyboard. It's as simple as that!

Now, I know many of you are probably wondering why you need this when you can just use the Safely Remove Hardware feature, but it really is a quicker alternative. It's just another way of doing things! Also, as of right now, the USB Disk Ejector application works with both Windows XP and Vista. So, if this sounds like something you may be able to get some use out of, you can install it for yourself right here. Just click on the Download Latest link and follow the directions. You're now on your way to faster USB removals forever.
