Rainlendar
I get a ton of e-mails asking for Web sites with desktop wallpaper that features the current month’s calendar. Well, I’ve gone one step further and I’ve found a site that offers a free download of a desktop calendar that is very customizable!
I have to tell you, I’m already in love with it! Not only can you have a moveable calendar on your desktop, but you can set up to-do lists and keep track of important upcoming events.
To download it, go to Downloads and select Rainlendar from the drop down menu. Or, you can just click into the section and download it from there. It is available for Windows (2000 and higher) and Linux. They even provide installation instructions.
You may have noticed on the drop down menu for Downloads that there was a listing for Skins. With those, you can customize your calendar even more by making it look the way you like it. I’m just using the default option, because I think it’s pretty sleek, but there are 26 pages of skins to go through, so if you decide to go that route, you have plenty to choose from.
If you run into a snag, try checking out the F.A.Q. section. There were a lot of really great questions answered there, but if you don’t find what you're looking for, you can also hit the forum and try asking there.
Basically, I installed the Rainlendar, double clicked its icon to start it and the calendar instantly appeared on my screen. Just drag the calendar where you want to put it on your desktop with your mouse.
To create a new event, just right click the calendar and choose New Event. That will open the event window where you can title your events, set the date and time and even set up an alarm so that you don’t forget to do something!
To make an entry on the To-Do list, right click the calendar and select New Task. Then just fill out the title. Also, in the large text list, you can put a listing or description of what all needs to be done. You can then mouse over that event on the To-Do list and it will bring up the details for you.
I hope you all love this Web site as much as I already do!

Office Invaders
Need a break from the office? Well, let’s take one together by playing Office Invaders! This game requires Shockwave to play it, so if you don’t have that on your computer, you can get it here for free!
You start by choosing the character you want to be. Your options are Peter or Dawn. Use the right and left arrow keys to move your character back and forth across the screen. The space bar fires off your rubber bands. You need to dodge the paper balls the IT guys throw at you, so make sure to watch for them! As you progress in your game, you'll face off with different departments. I'm all the way up to the HR guys!
You can also get power ups that allow you to move faster or shoot more rubber bands. To collect a power up, just shoot it with your rubber band. To use the rubber band ball power up, simply hit Enter.
Enjoying the game? Well, you can download it for a Mac or PC for free and play it offline too! Just install it on your computer and you can enjoy countless hours of play while you work your way up the corporate ladder!
I have to warn you though, this game is really addicting. I’m still trying to beat it. Have fun!

Is there any way to make a complex password I won't forget?
. Most Web sites these days require you to have a password with at least eight characters, while one of those characters must be a number or a symbol and there must be at least one capital letter.
In order for a password to be truly secure, there should be no words of any kind in the password. It shouldn't simply be a word with a number at the end and you shouldn't just capitalize the first letter of the password. If you do, your password could be cracked within seconds!
So, you ask, “How in the world can I come up with a password I can remember with all of these requirements?” Well, there is a very good way to do this! It will allow you to come up with a password that is easy to remember and you can even write down a hint, without giving the password away on paper.
Then here's how to do it!
First, come up with a word. It can be something like a pet's name, a city or anything else you want to use. For my example, I will use my hometown of Toledo.
Second, find some characters you can use to replace some of the letters. I will replace “o” with “0” and “l” with “1.” So, now I have T01ed0.
Third, since Toledo is only six characters, I will need to add some more characters. I will add "AB." This makes my password T01ed0AB.
Now, this is a secure password, but it may be kind of hard to remember. So, to help you remember your password, you can write down a hint. The hint will be just enough to jog your memory, but not enough to give the password away. For the hint, write something you will remember the word by, plus the extra characters and the replacement characters.
Here's how I would write my hint for T01ed0AB: City 01AB
That way, you know the password is the name of a city, the replacement characters are 0 and 1 and the extra characters are AB. That should be enough to remind you of your password, but not enough for someone else to guess what it is.

I need to know how to change a file extension. Can you please help me?
File extensions are a big part of our computing lives and every file we work with has its own special extension and format. So, if you've ever needed to change an extension and you're not sure how to do it, keep reading to find out!
First, let's go over some examples. You may have even experienced these before. Maybe you have a document that is in an .htm (HTML) format, but you'd like to view it under a .txt (text) extension. Or, maybe one of your friends e-mailed you a picture, but instead of it being a JPEG format like you're used to, it was sent as a GIF or maybe even as a PDF. So, how can you change those to be the formats you want? It's pretty easy, so let's get to it!
First, you need to make sure your system is set up to allow file extension changes. To check on that, go to your Start menu, choose Run, type in "explorer" (without the quotes) and click OK. Once the new window opens, go to the Tools menu and click on Folder Options. Next, choose the View tab and find the option that says "Hide extensions for known file types." Make sure that is unchecked and then click OK. Now, you're all set!
Next, go to the file you want to change, right click on it and choose Rename. You can then rename the file with the new extension you prefer. Once you're done, just hit the Enter key on your keyboard and it will be saved. Then you can go and open the file again, but this time, it will be the way you want it!
Don't settle for other extension names any longer. Do it your way from now on!
http://www.recipe-recipes.net/seasoning/seasoning-mixes.htm
You should know by now that I’m always looking for new recipes! Well, I happened to run across this Web site that is full of seasoning mix recipes and I just couldn’t wait to share it with all of you. I am a huge fan of seasoning mixes. From the pre-made pot roast mixes to my favorite poultry seasoning, nothing can make me happier than having a new seasoning mix to test out in my kitchen!
Navigation on this site is super simple! The entire page is basically an index. All you have to do is click on the name of the seasoning mix you want the recipe for and you will be taken to its page. There you will find the recipe and a link that directs you back to the main index of seasoning mixes.
I was surprised to see Colonel Sanders secret herbs and spices, KFC's chicken seasoning mix, Taco Bell's meat seasoning, several Emeril spice mixes and Mrs. Dash’s table seasoning here. I’m really itching to try them and see how they compare!
I was also very excited to see that there were two recipes a piece for Herbs de Provence and poultry seasoning. I know Poultry Seasoning 2 is very close to the one I love. Also, I just got a brand new spice rack for Christmas and I’ve been dying to test it out!
I also urge you to check out the vanilla sugar recipe! They provide two ways of making it: with vanilla extract and vanilla beans. Plus, you can use the extract version to make lemon sugar, almond sugar or even mint sugar, all of which are great in teas, baked goods and even icing.
I think you're sure to find a seasoning mix here that you will like. Whether you want to try new things or need to make a filler mix, because you ran out of your favorite seasoning, it's all here. Enjoy!
