make a copy of an item exactly where you need it, without the automatic need for positioning after you complete the duplication?
this is a one step duplication and positioning trick.
- First of all, you'll need to select the item you want to copy.
- Next, hold down the Ctrl key.
- Finally, click on the item, hold and drag the object to its new position.
You should have the original picture or drawing still in its original place and a new, perfect duplicate in the place where you just positioned it.
wouldn't it be nice to make a copy of the item exactly where you need it, without the automatic need for positioning after you complete the duplication?

Volcanoes are amazing feats of nature. They can lie dormant for centuries or erupt without any warning. You’ll find the navigation menu on the right hand side of the page. On the left, you’ll find the features that make up the main page, such as the volcano of the month, volcano updates, the most recent news and what’s new on the site.
How can I erase sites I have searched for on Google? Clearing temporary internet files and history files does not do it. I can erase them if I go to each one under Google but that is tedious and time consuming. Thanks.
Answer
We're assuming you are using the Google Search Toolbar. If so, here are the instructions for clearing the search history in the current version:
CLEARING YOUR GOOGLE TOOLBAR HISTORY (current version) - You can clear your Toolbar's search history by clicking the arrow button to the right of the search box. When your drop-down search history appears, simply click the "Clear History" link.
CLEARING YOUR GOOGLE TOOLBAR HISTORY (previous versions) - To clear your search history from the drop-down text box in previous versions of the Google Toolbar, click on the Google logo to access the drop-down menu and select the "Clear Search History" option. This will clear all your previous searches from this box.
CLEARING YOUR GOOGLE SEARCH HISTORY IN INTERNET EXPLORER - If you're using Google Toolbar or not, it's important to remember that the search history that displays in the search box on the Google homepage is stored by your browser, not by Google. To disable this feature on Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) versions 5.0 and higher:
1. Go to the "Tools" menu.
2. Select "Internet Options."
3. Select the "Content" tab.
4. Within the "Personal Information" area, select "AutoComplete."
5. Click on "Clear Forms." You can also uncheck the "Forms" box in this same window to keep this information from being stored in the future.
6. Alternatively, you can delete individual entries from your search history by using the Down arrow key to select a previous search, then pressing the Delete key once an unwanted search is highlighted.
CLEARING YOUR BROWSER HISTORY
To clear your history from Internet Explorer 7:
1. Press Alt-T on your keyboard to open your IE "Tools" menu.
2. Select "Internet Options."
3. Click the "General" tab.
4. Under the "Browsing History" section, click the "Delete..." button.
5. Click the "Delete History" button to delete your search history.
If you're running a previous version of Internet Explorer, please follow these steps:
1. Go to the "Tools" menu.
2. Select "Internet Options."
3. Click the "General" tab.
4. Click the "Clear History" button. To completely disable the history function, set "Days to keep pages in history" to zero.
