Internet Threats
Beware of an email that appears to come from Microsoft inviting you to download Internet Explorer 7 beta 2. It is not from Microsoft, there is no "beta 2", and if you download this file it will ask you to turn off your anti-virus program so it can install a keylogger or a trojan on your computer.
The email has the "from" address of "admin@microsoft.com" but it doesn't come from Microsoft. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IE7 FROM ANY EMAIL YOU RECEIVE. If you want to install IE7 go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx .
In the spoofed IE7 email you'll see the following image. If you click the image you will be clicking a download link. Do not do it.
Remember! If you see this image in an email that appears to come from Microsoft but does not, DO NOT CLICK THE IMAGE. Delete the email immediately!
